NASHVILLE, December 4, 2017 – The Restaurant Loss Prevention & Security Association (RLPSA) and the Foodservice Industry Risk Management Association (FIRMA) are excited to announce they will work together to bring even more value to restaurant loss prevention, safety, and risk management professionals by co-locating their annual conferences August 5 – 8, 2018 in Dallas, Texas.
FIRMA is known for its cutting-edge content focusing on solving foodservice industry challenges specifically related to risk, which is the perfect complement to RLPSA’s existing risk management educational track.
“The FIRMA board and its members are excited to join RLPSA for its annual conference because we believe it will be mutually beneficial for our respective members as we share knowledge and industry best practices within a larger community of foodservice professionals,” said Kurt Leisure, co-founder and current board member of FIRMA. “Our FIRMA members will also benefit from the valuable keynote and general sessions that RLPSA continues to deliver at its annual conference.”

RLPSA recently announced Emmitt Smith, the National Football League’s all-time leading rusher, a three-time Super Bowl champion, and a member of the 2010 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as one of its keynote speakers.
The 39th annual RLPSA conference will be held from August 5 – 8, 2018 in Dallas, Texas at the Hyatt Regency downtown. FIRMA members can register for the conference by utilizing RLPSA’s member rate until June 1, 2018 when the early bird member rate of $499 expires.
